General Requirement:
Attendance is required. There are 11 scheduled experiments, 10 of which will be counted in final overall gradings. It is expected that you have read the lab manual before you come to the lab.
Pre-Lab questions are due at the beginning of each lab.
Read "laboratory Guidelines" starting from page ii if not yet.
Check out instruments using your ID.
Do not change PC settings or install software.
Do not turn off PC when leaving unless you are told to.
Help your partner clean up when leaving.

Lab Schedule:

Make-up Labs:
Make-up labs will only be given for verifiable medical reasons or for absence due to official university activities. The student must have permissions from the professor and both TAs. It is up to you to inform me as early as possible if you will be missing a lab. No more than one "visiting" student in any lab section at a time.
Permission is not automatic and may be denied due to lack of equipment, experiments requiring close TA scrutiny, or other circumstances.
Physics labs take priority over specially arranged night exams. It is up to the instructor of the night exam to arrange a makeup exam if there is a schedule conflict.

Complaint Procedure:
"Academic Misconduct" and "Student Complaints Concerning Faculty Actions" procedures are available for your review in the Schedule of Courses, pp. 37 - 38. The Department Chairman, Professor Thomas Boggess, can be contacted through the Main Office 203 VAN. As stated in the procedure noted above, a complaints or comments regarding TAs should first be directed to the instructor of the course.
