Stars, Galaxies and the Universe -- Lab information

Manual

Lab Manual for 029:050 in pdf format. Labs from this manual will be used weekly and filled in on the lab manual pages. Therefore, you should do one of two things:

Take this PDF (on a thumb drive) to a copy center and have the whole manual printed in color. This will cost you about $12. Please have it punched and put in a three ring binder. Do not have it bound as you will need to submit pages to your TA
Each week, pay attention to which lab exercise will be used and print out pages in color from your personal printer and bring to class.

There is NO guarantee that you can print your lab when you arrive in class, so please come to your lab section prepared with the lab pages in hand!

All labs meet in room 666 Van Allen Hall.

Please check the time and day of your lab sections. If you have a conflict and need to switch sections please contact the Physics General Office in room 203 of Van Allen Hall.

Section 21 meets Tuesdays 8:30-10:20. TA is Leo Rodriguez

Contact information

This information will be completed after the beginning of the semester. Please contact your TA if you will be missing a lab. Please do not assume that you can join another lab, as of the beginning of the semester all the sections are completely full. Your TA's office hours give you the opportunity to ask questions about the course, lab and project.
