Controlling the MTBF Cerenkov Detectors from ACNET
- Go to the MTBF terminal (MTBF.fnal.gov)
- Select the Utilities screen. (It
be iconized on the bottom bar.)
- Use the "Settings Disable" menu and select 1
hour
- Select any "meson" page and go to page S17
- Go to page -<4>+
- You will now see 4 lines for the 2 Cerenkov roughing pumps and the 2 gas
supply gauges.
- The status will be seen at the far right of the page as either
"..C." or ".O..".
- For the valves, "C" implies that the valves are closed (OFF).
- For the pumps, "O" implies that the pumps are pumping the volume (On).
- To change the setting, click once in the status area, then move to the
section and click on the "on" (off) word to turn on (off) the pumps or
open (close) the supply valves.
