Prior to attending the University of Iowa, Kenny completed his BS in Physics and Mathematics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. There, he worked on exploring new methods for probing the parameter space in which the rate of spin-independent dark matter scattering is highly suppressed. His current research interests include astronomy and instrumentation.
