The Laboratory for Photonics and Quantum Electronics at The University of Iowa anticipates the availability of a limited number of temporary postdoctoral research positions. Preferred areas of interest include (but are not limited to): investigations of ultrafast processes in semiconductor heterostructures and devices; the development of ultrafast lasers; strong-field science and applications; growth, fabrication, and characterization of traditional and non-traditional photonic materials and devices. Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the candidate. The search will begin immediately and will remain open until all positions are filled.
