| Jason Martin-Hiner: "My undergraduate degree was in physics and physics education. I had no research opportunities as an undergraduate, so I wanted to explore research to see if I would like it (as a career). When I decided to go back, I looked for areas of physics that I might be interested in and I saw space and plasma physics.
