Our Students Talk About Iowa City

Ilker Uzun Yugang Sheng Lou Datilio
Ilker Uzun: "It's a very safe place to live." Yugang Sheng: "I'm pleased that there are quite a lot of people from my country. It's a nice place for international students." Lou Datilio, talking about when he goes home to New Hampshire: "I miss Iowa City. There are so many cultural activities, not just for the students but for the whole population. There are so many events and festivals, like the Jazz Festival."
Yohannes Abate
Yohannes Abate: "The cost of housing in Iowa City is reasonable for somebody living on a TA stipend. At first I lived in Hawkeye Court, and then I moved. I take the Cambus. It's fun because I see lots of international students."
